About Me

I am a 20 years judoka living in South East London. My adventure with judo began when I was 6, and since then it has become my way of life.

I initially trained at Northbrook Judo Club with Gary Currier and at Harris Judo Club with Duncan Carrey. Then I moved on to train at JSC with John Cottis and also at Tower Hamlets with Mariusz Bajda. These great coaches supported me throughout my first years of judo. They thought me not only excellent skills but also developed the passion for the sport,  the spirit of hard work, ambition and perseverance.

I love to be a competitor standing face to face with my opponent. Over the years I competed at the highest level in Great Britain and around the world, achieving some outstanding results.

My greatest achievements so far have been winning Great Britain Championships 9 times, gold medal at the Junior and Senior Commonwealth Championships in South Africa, bronze at the University European Championships and numerous medals at the Cadet and Junior European Cups.

In 2016 I have been selected to the British Judo World Class Performance Programme (WCPP) based at the British Judo Excellence Centre in Walsall.

At this National Training Centre the players on the Olympic programme train on daily basis to be developed to compete on the biggest stage.

I am very proud to be one of these elite players and I am fully dedicated to work to my best ability and hopefully to achieve my aim of becoming a judoka that can match the best in the world  and stand on the Olympic podium!
